You’ve processed your images to perfection and it’s time to export them to share them with the world! You select your images, click on Export, and watch as your art is written to digital bits and bytes on your hard drive. As your export completes, you prepare yourself to inspect your creations and then…error!

Lightroom Fanatic – Unable to Export Windows Error Dialog
If you’ve ever seen the dialog above, it can be a total buzz-kill. The error happens in many Windows versions of Lightroom, including both Lightroom 4 and 5. The problem is that Lightroom is trying to execute a step after the files are exported but no step is specified, and so Lightroom throws the error. Fortunately, the fix is easy.
To fix this issue, go to the Post-Processing section of the export dialog and make sure the After Export box is not blank. If it is, use the drop-down arrow next to it to select a valid action such as Do Nothing.

Lightroom Fanatic – Export Dialog – Post-Processing
With a valid option selected in the Post-Processing section, the error should go away, and you’ll no longer have the nasty dialog sullying your Lightroom exports.
Hope that helps!
